Man cited for killing alligator snapping turtle

Wildlife officers in Miller County have cited a man for killing an endangered alligator snapping turtle in an illegal hoop net on the Red River.

Authorities say 34-year-old Jason Oller of Miller County has a June 11 court date to answer citations for killing the turtle, an 8-foot alligator and an alligator gar. He could be fined nearly $2,500
