Turtle set on fire starts brush fire in Suffolk
SUFFOLK -- A group of boys are accused of setting a snapping turtle on fire, sparking a brush fire in Suffolk.
Firefighters were called to the 6000 block of College Drive around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The flames were 20 to 30 feet from an apartment complex, but crews were able to control the fire before it threatened the complex.
The Fire Marshal is investigating and the boys suspected in the arson have been identified but not arrested.
